has been actively pursuing her art as a professional photographer and graphic artist for over 30 years. She began her career in Bermuda where she managed a photo studio, then moved to New York City, operating a black&white custom lab,. Her photographic talent captured the attention of high-profile corporate clients and celebrities, and she specialized in corporate assignments, portraiture, and celebrity weddings.

With expertise in both analog and digital imaging, she recently broadened her artistic expression to sometimes include watercolor and/or acrylics in multimedia works of art that are exciting and richly textured.

She has won numerous awards for her unique style and often cutting edge techniques.

Her art is held in private and corporate collections in this country, in Bermuda, and in parts of Europe.

For several years now Gertraud had been drawn to the natural beauty of the Eastern Shore, and she has finally decided to make it her permanent home.
