From my earliest memories, I have been compelled to express myself creatively. In the spring of 2000 I entered the professional world as an arts and craft designer. As a designer, I authored three books and have been published in magazines and professional publications. Late in 2006, I transitioned to fine art when I began working in watercolors and have since expanded my work to include oil painting and photography. Today, along with my paintings, I show my photography and digital artwork professionally.
My preferred genres are portraiture and figural works as well as nature studies in oils and watercolor. I especially enjoy compositions that depict individuals in everyday situations. Currently I am working on a collection of Eastern Shore inspired paintings including landscape and figural artworks.
I live in Pocomoke City and work daily in my studio.
