At the beach since 1973, Hager continually offers a variety of work in The Globe Balcony Art Gallery. A combination of watercolor and oil paintings are often reminiscent of her daily life, including her two children, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Hearing impaired, Hager said her take on things is a little bit different than most.

“I observe a lot of things because I have to see them rather than hear them. Things that might annoy or distract someone do not bother me at all,” she said.

Having traveled to Norway, Portugal, Italy, Ireland and out west, this Lutherville, Md native is a delightful addition to The Balcony Art Gallery.

Hager says she started painting, “late in life,” and has participated in numerous local water color workshops. Her work can also be seen at Bishops Stock in Snowhill, The Ocean City Art League, and The Worcester County Arts Council.
