About the Balcony Gallery

The Globe offers an ever changing gallery / restaurant setting to view and enjoy hand picked local artists. The restaurant is filled with each participating artists work both throughout the dining rooms and upstairs in The Balcony Art Gallery.
August & September 2011 Features the work of Brian Robertson

Brian Robertson is a local graphic artist and painter.
Graphic, is his first solo show on the eastern shore.
His style combines graphic line art illustration that
is usually used in commercial applications to the
gallery setting. Robertson creates iconic and
nastalgic graphic images on gessoed wood and screen
prints smaller limited variations on archival paper in
an attempt to bring affordable art to everyone. At the
show you will see art work as large as 8’ wide and
screen prints as small as 8 inches tall.

The Globe in historic downtown Berlin, Maryland, five miles from the ocean beaches, is dedicated to showcasing the works of local and regional artists in its upstairs Art Gallery, with monthly changing shows. The Globe -- located at 12 Broad Street in Berlin -- offers family dining, food and spirits, plus live music and special events.
