How to Submit Artwork


CURRENT SHOW:
Brian Robertson is a local graphic artist and painter.
Graphic, is his first solo show on the eastern shore.
His style combines graphic line art illustration that
is usually used in commercial applications to the
gallery setting. Robertson creates iconic and
nastalgic graphic images on gessoed wood and screen
prints smaller limited variations on archival paper in
an attempt to bring affordable art to everyone. At the
show you will see art work as large as 8’ wide and
screen prints as small as 8 inches tall.

At this time The Globe is ONLY accepting two dimensional artwork. All work MUST have a wire for hanging and a label on the back denoting the title, genre, artist and asking price. WORK WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT A WIRE. It is a 70/30 split between the artist and The Balcony Art Gallery with 30% of the total price going back to The Balcony Art Gallery.

Call to Artists

Feature your art in a private or group show. The Globe is interested in local artists to display in The Balcony Art Gallery. If you are interested please send an artist bio, and several .jpg images of your work to jen@globetheater.com. Please send images in a smaller format if possible (650px wide 72dpi). If this is not possible, send one at a time.
At this time The Globe is hosting themed art shows about every six weeks. Some past examples are, "Food Glorious Food," "ocean","Humanity Unveiled: A Celebration of the Human Body". We appreciate your feedback and are always looking for new show ideas.
